Taught by a qualified and practicing IFPA Aromatherapist, the course covers all IFPA requirements but it also discusses the most appropriate essential oils for treating individual body systems. The course is ideal for trainee Aromatherapists and also for those who feel that they would benefit from refreshing their knowledge of A&P. Taught over 5 separate days, the course will cover: Day 1 – Introduction to the human body, cells, tissues, integumentary and skeletal systems.Day 2 – Muscular and nervous systemsDay 3 – Endocrine, cardiovascular and respiratory systemsDay 4 – Immune, lymphatic and urinary systemsDay 5 – Digestive and reproductive systemsFor those working towards the IFPA diploma, additional out of class assignments will also be completed. These comprise chemistry of life, stress, the special senses and pathology. The completion of these assignments will achieve the required 50 hours of study outlined in the IFPA syllabus.Emergency First Aid CourseA one day course with a 3 year certificate to cover emergency first aid treatments for the workplace. This course is run by a Professional Company and is HSE approved.
