Payment We must receive full cleared payment for an order before we despatch the Goods. You can pay using any major credit or debit card and via paypal. You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit or debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment, we won’t be liable for any delay or non-delivery. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at current rates and are exclusive of Delivery charges. Trade prices on our trade shop are exclusive of VAT. The total cost of your order is the price of the Goods ordered and Delivery charges. We may not accept your order if an item you have ordered is out of stock, we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment or if there is a product or pricing error. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. No contract will be formed unless and until we accept the Buyers order. Acceptance will be deemed to have occurred when we send a confirmatory email to the Buyer, or if earlier we despatched the Goods. If we are unable to fulfil your order following our order acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or telephone advising you of this. Our cancellation and return procedures are set out below. Quantity and description of services and goods We endeavour to keep our Website as up to date as possible however descriptions of Goods and prices appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place your order. Delivery Of Goods We aim to despatch all orders within 48 hours of receipt of placing an order. Parcels should then reach you within 2-3 working days of leaving our warehouse. This is subject to seasonal variation and indicative only. We cannot accept any liability whatsoever for delayed Delivery caused by any third party. We specify the method and address for Delivery when you make your order. Risk of damage or loss of the Goods passes to you on Delivery. Back Orders As the manufacturer of The Aromatherapy Company brand products we are able to maintain high levels of stock all year round. On the rare occasion an item is not available, we will back order it for you and give you the option to cancel the item/order if you would rather not wait for it to be delivered. Returns We will issue refunds or exchanges as long as you notify us by email within seven working days of Delivery. We will refund or exchange as long as we are satisfied that tamper seals remain in place and the Goods are in a re-sellable condition. Unfortunately we cannot refund any postage costs incurred. If we choose to send you replacement Goods in exchange before you have returned the original Goods you must return the original Goods within 14 days of receiving the replacement Goods. If you fail to do so we reserve the right to charge the price of the replacement Goods to the payment card used for the original order. Please email the aromatherapycompany@gmail.com and we will issue you with a returns reference number and give you instructions on how to return your Goods. (Your statutory rights are not affected) In the unlikely event that you dislike or experience a reaction to one of our products, please contact customer services on 01827 370456. Losses We will be responsible for any losses you suffer as a result of us breaching these Conditions if the losses were reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the Website, or a contract for the sale of goods by us to you was formed. We will not be responsible for any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss that is not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the Website or when a contract for the sale of goods by us to you was formed. Security We will only retain your personal details, (full name, address, email, telephone number) if you indicate your desire to be included in our database. We will not share your information with any outside parties without your full consent. Courses All courses provided by The Aromatherapy Company International Training Centre are subject to the following terms and conditions: 1 We reserve the right to decline to accept any application for enrolment. 2 For the fees quoted we will supply the course materials or practical training workshops on dates decided by us (at its sole discretion) throughout the duration of the course. All other services described in the promotional material are provided free of charge, unless otherwise stated. 3 Overseas students shall be responsible for paying any import or export duties or taxes which may be imposed. 4 Initial distance learning course materials will be sent to you within 21 days of enrolment. If you do not receive them within this period, you should notify us immediately. Otherwise, we shall be entitled to assume that you have received them. 5 For distance learning you can study as and when it is convenient for you. However, we advise you to complete your course within two years as syllabuses are subject to change. 6 Failure to complete the course shall not entitle you to receive any refund of fees already paid. Course enrolments are not transferable. 7 In accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have a cooling off period in which you may cancel your enrolment by giving notice to us in writing or by email. In the case of distance learning courses, this right expires 7 working days from the date of your first receipt of course materials. In the case of practical training workshops, this right expires 7 working days from the date of contract (normally the date when you make your first payment) or upon your practical training workshop commencing (if sooner). In the event of cancellation, all course materials must be returned to us in good, resellable condition. 8 We warrant that all course materials will be prepared and any practical training workshops and training support will be provided with reasonable care and skill. Subject thereto, we shall have no liability to any person for any loss or damage, however occurring, whether direct or indirect, resulting from your enrolment on the course. Our liability shall in any event be limited to the fees paid by you for participation in the course. 9 You must observe all of our rules applicable to the course. If you commit any breach of such rules or are guilty of any offensive behaviour, or we have reasonable grounds for believing that you are likely to misuse your course qualifications, we shall be entitled to expel you from the course, without reimbursement of fees already paid. 10 Copyright in the course materials is owned or licensed by The Aromatherapy Company international training centre. Copying, adaptation or other use without the written permission of ourselves is prohibited. 11 Unless otherwise stipulated in your application, we may use your personal data for administrative and update purposes and may keep this information for a reasonable period and may contact you by email, mail, SMS or telephone to let you know about any courses or promotions which might be of interest to you. If you have booked the course for another person, you confirm that they have authorised you to act for them, to consent to the processing of their personal data and to receive any fair collection notices on their behalf. 12 If you have booked the course for another person, these terms and conditions shall be binding on you and the participant and references herein to “you” shall mean or include “the participant”, where appropriate. It shall be your responsibility to ensure that these terms and conditions are brought to the notice of the participant and you shall indemnify us against any loss, damage or liability resulting from your failure to do so. 13 We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any practical training workshop. 14 In undertaking any work, you must take care to ensure that the work is within your competence and within the boundaries of your training. You should seek further advice or instruction from our tutors, if necessary. Any statement made to you about potential earnings or employment shall be treated as a matter of opinion and shall be non-binding. 15 You must complete all payments and successfully complete your course prior to issue of certification. 16 Course content may be subject to change. 17 Any complaint about the course should be notified to the Principal at TAC’s address set out in the application form.
